Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has now been spotted in training ahead of the game against Fulham.

The Lilywhites return to action on Saturday evening following their huge win on the weekend against Aston Villa.

And it seems Ange Postecoglou may be boosted by a return to the squad for Richarlison after he’s been sidelined through a knee injury.

Richarlison injury news

The Brazilian was forced to miss the victory over Aston Villa despite suggesting to Brazilian media that he would return for the game.

But it seems his timeline was not too far off as he has now seemingly returned to training at Hotspur Way.

This is not the first injury Richarlison has suffered from this season having already undergone surgery on a groin issue.

Speaking on the Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham podcast, journalist Alasdair Gold says the Brazilian was spotted in a recent training photo from the training ground.

He said: “Obviously, we have to wait for Ange’s press conference tomorrow [Friday] to get complete confirmation that he wasn’t just involved in running and things like that. He was kitted out, but whether he was actually involved in the group training session we are yet to find out. But yeah, it’s certainly a good sign I think him being kitted up and having hit boots on.”

Postecoglou’s striker decision

It looks like Postecoglou may have his striker returning for the game on the weekend.

Richarlison went into the injury on the back of some impressive form having scored nine in his last 10 Premier League games.

But Spurs have been flying without the Brazilian in the starting XI. Seven goals have been scored in the two games he’s missed.

Adding to that, Heung-min Son is showing some seriously impressive form through the middle and the wide players are also blossoming.

This has all made it extremely difficult to see how Richarlison makes his return to the starting XI on Saturday.

Brennan Johnson continues to show his development and Timo Werner is also getting himself among the goals.

And the beauty of this Spurs squad at the moment is players are not needing to be rushed back from injury as their replacements are doing a fine job in their spot.
