Spurs have beaten Manchester City 4-0 in the Premier League.

Tottenham continued their fine record against Citizens, in a statement win at the Etihad Stadium.

A first-half brace from James Maddison got the Lilywhites well on their way to victory before Pedro Porro made it three with a well-taken finish on the break.

Man City would push to get themselves back into the game, but Ange Postecoglou’s side would provide another hammer blow late on with Brennan Johnson making it 4-0 in injury time.

Man of the match Maddison may take the headlines, but it is still worth taking a closer look at how the rest of the Spurs squad got on in Manchester.

Guglielmo Vicario – 8

A very assured performance from the Italian. His calmness on the ball helped Spurs bypass the City press. Also made some fine saves, denying Erling Haaland on a number of occasions.

Pedro Porro – 8

Quality again from the Spaniard. He was bright going forward and also kept the likes of Savinho and Foden quiet. His performance was perfectly rounded off by a well-taken goal.

Radu Dragusin – 7

After a few rough weeks, Dragusin was back to his best against City. Whether it be blocks or clearances, the Romanian defended the Tottenham box very well.

Ben Davies – 7

Mr. Reliable strikes again. Whenever Spurs need Davies to step up to the plate, the Welshman always provides. His direct balls into the likes of Solanke and Son were a particular highlight of his game.

Destiny Udogie – 7

Udogie was another key player in keeping City’s star men quiet. The Italian also looked back to his best on the ball.

Yves Bissouma – 7

Despite getting himself booked after just 20 seconds, the midfielder stepped up to the plate in Rodrigo Bentancur’s absence.

Pape Matar Sarr – 8

Sarr’s energy in midfield is simply unrivaled in this Tottenham team. His tireless work rate helped nullify City’s threat in midfield. Quality from the youngster.

James Maddison – 10

Wow, just wow. What a statement performance from the birthday boy. Two beautifully taken goals. Gary Neville summed up Maddison’s display perfectly, claiming he ‘ran the game’ against City on SkySports commentary.

Dejan Kulusevski – 9

A simply stunning performance from the Swede. His assist for Maddison’s opener was outstanding. Kulusevski’s ball retention was one of the key factors in Tottenham’s success on the break.

Dominic Solanke – 8

Whether it be holding the ball up or getting fouls, Solanke was integral to Tottenham’s success going forward. He deserved a goal for all his relentless work rate and pressing.

Heung-min Son – 8

Son was back to his sharp best this evening. He gave former Spurs man Kyle Walker the run around for most of the game. Unlucky to not get on the scoresheet.
