Tottenham Hotspur have lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace in the Premier League, in a game with little to write home about.
Tottenham simply never got going against Oliver Glasner’s struggling Palace side – and they were punished.
A 31st-minute Jean-Phillipe Mateta strike was the difference on the day. A lot was down to the fact that Tottenham Hotspur simply posed no attacking threat.
The starting front three included Mikey Moore, who made his first Premier League start at Selhurst Park.

Tottenham fans react to Mikey Moore vs Crystal Palace
Despite Moore playing a blinder in the Europa League and impressing Postecoglou, his first start in England’s top flight was not one he’ll look back too fondly on.
However, despite the rather unfavourable performance, Tottenham fans are saying the same thing – it is simply not the 17-year-old’s fault.
A first says, “Mikey Moore isn’t ready to play multiple 90s just yet. Needs to be taken care of and not overworked.”
Another adds: “Ange panicked putting Mikey Moore in the starting lineup – he’s still better than Werner, but that will have done him no good at all.”
Another fan adds some analysis: “Mikey Moore also largely kept quiet. The performance was a reminder of levels, but the expectations for Moore just went up. Every passing move felt like it was lucky if it ended with a chance threatening Palace’s goal.”
Lastly, a fan adds: ‘Mikey Moore you did great. It’s not your fault, they’re the stupid ones.’
Mikey Moore stats vs Crystal Palace
Moore’s poor showing reflected in his stats, which arent anywhere near the level the Neymar-esque winger can get to.

Moore will bounce back, and as will Spurs – but this was a tough one to swallow against a lacklustre Palace side.
