Tottenham Hotspur fans are all in agreement about Richarlison’s performance at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The 26-year-old netted once again to help Tottenham earn a 2-2 draw at Manchester United.

Richarlison popped up with a well-taken header in the first half after an exceptional delivery from Pedro Porro from a corner.

The Brazilian has now bagged six times in his last six league games for Spurs after returning from a groin injury. But it wasn’t just his goal that caught the eye at United on Sunday as he put in his most well-rounded display this season. 

The 26-year-old consistently held the ball up for Spurs and brought his teammates into the game, which is also an area of his game where he’s struggled in the past.

Tottenham fans have taken to social media and reacted to his display, with many believing it was Richarlison’s ‘best game in a Spurs shirt’.

Following a well-rounded striker’s display at United, Spurs fans seemed to all be in agreement that this was his best 90 minutes in a Tottenham shirt.

One fan labelled his display ‘unbelievable’ while another was particularly impressed with his hold-up play.

Richarlison seems to finally be finding his feet at Spurs after a difficult first year at the club.

The Brazil international managed just two league goals in his debut campaign last time out after joining from Everton for a £60 million fee. 

He’s already smashed his numbers from last year and yesterday’s display at United will offer Postecoglou huge encouragement. 

Richarlison has often struggled with his back to goal but he couldn’t be faulted in that department against United. He also ran himself into the ground and was a constant nuisance for Erik ten Hag’s backline. 

It’s the kind of performance we have all been waiting for since his switch from Everton in the summer of 2022.

With Heung-Min Son away at the Asian Cup until next month, it feels vital that Richarlison steps up in his absence and he got off to a brilliant start yesterday.
