Micky van de Ven was amongst Tottenham Hotspur’s worst performers against Nottingham Forest as they were beaten 3-0.
Tottenham Hotspur were unable to build on the win over Atletico Madrid as they were torn apart by the travelling Forest team.
😡 Who was Tottenham’s WORST player vs Nottingham Forest?
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was stunned following a big welcoming reception for the team as the players failed to offer anything.
After a very damaging defeat for the North London club, The Spurs News assesses the players’ performances from the match.
Guglielmo Vicario – 3
Guglielmo Vicario yet again made another error, and this time it was for Forest’s second, as Gibbs-White’s shot went underneath him.
Pedro Porro – 3
Pedro Porro started at right midfield and never looked much of a threat, trying to create chances for Tudor’s side.
Micky van de Ven – 2
Micky van de Ven looked all over the place in the first half and was taken off at half-time, presumably after picking up a minor injury.
Cristian Romero – 5
Cristian Romero worked hard to show aggression and some passion, but Spurs were ultimately so easy to score against for the visitors.
Kevin Danso – 4
Kevin Danso had some decent defensive moments, winning most of his aerial duels, but it was a day of bad defending for Spurs.
Djed Spence – 2
Djed Spence was hooked at half-time following a pretty woeful display against Forest, as the defender lost possession nine times.
Archie Gray – 7
Gray once again was Spurs’ best performer against Forest; however, he could not do enough to stop the team from slipping to defeat.
👀 TRUE or FALSE: Archie Gray has been Spurs’ Player of the Season…
Pape Matar Sarr – 6
Pape Matar Sarr had some bright moments in the midfield, but ultimately didn’t have much of an influence on the match.
Mathys Tel – 6
Mathys Tel has shown a lot of effort over the last few weeks and at least tried to make things happen in the first half.
Richarlison – 2
Richarlison offered very little up front for Tottenham, failing to produce a single shot on target and missing one big chance.
Dominic Solanke – 2
Just like his strike partner, Dominic Solanke was also very, very poor, and it proved to be a bizarre decision to start him over Xavi Simons.
Destiny Udogie – 3
Destiny Udogie was so poor when he came on and offered no impact on the game.
Lucas Bergvall – 4
Lucas Bergvall was also subbed on at half-time and was also very poor.
Xavi Simons – 3
Simons should have started against Forest after impressing against Atletico, but his impact was minimal.
Randal Kolo Muani – 3
Randal Kolo Muani failed to have an impact on the game, much like all of Spurs’ attackers on a very dark day for the club.
Conor Gallagher – 2
Conor Gallagher proves to be one of Tottenham’s worst-ever signings, managing just four touches and one completed pass in 12 minutes.
