Tottenham taking on Arsenal is undoubtedly the biggest fixture of the weekend and is going to garner media coverage.

In his view, this contest is the biggest North London derby in recent years, given how much is riding on it.

Carragher expects it to be a close game, but has backed the league leaders to come out and secure the three points.

He predicts that Arteta’s side will win this one 2-1.

Speaking to Sky Sports’ Super Six, he said: “Leeds could prove tricky for Aston Villa on Saturday, and will take points away from Villa Park. Liverpool put Nottingham Forest in further relegation danger with a win on Sunday morning, while Sunderland and Fulham share the spoils.

“Sunday afternoon hosts one of the biggest North London derby in years for Arsenal, and I think they temporarily silence the critics with a win against Spurs.”

How will Tottenham approach the North London derby under Igor Tudor

Spurs have nothing to lose as they are the underdogs going into this game.

There is already tremendous pressure on Arsenal to get the three points after they drew 2-2 in mid-week against Wolves.

Even though the game is at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, they are squaring off against a side that is 16th in the league and have a new manager.

It is very likely that by the time the game kicks off, Arsenal will only be two points clear of Manchester City, which is nothing in this title race.

Spurs would like nothing better than to disrupt the title aspirations of their cross-town rivals on Sunday.

While they are still in the Champions League, they are highly unlikely to finish in the European places in the league.

Stopping Arsenal from winning the title would be ideal and the stands would be the loudest they have been in months.
