Tottenham Hotspur are back in business, as they absolutely battered Newcastle United in the Premier League.

After a supremely difficult November for Ange Postecoglou and his coaching staff, which saw injuries galore to the first-team squad, not a single win and a sea of bad performances – Spurs finally look back to their best.

Goals from Destiny Udogie, Son Heung-Min and a Richarlison double were enough to see off Eddie Howe’s side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Fans of Tottenham Hotspur and football as a whole were blown away by just how well the home side played – including Sky Sports pundit, Jamie Carragher.

Carragher praises ‘brilliant’ Tottenham Hotspur

Jamie Carragher was for one a man impressed by just how well Spurs seemed to bounce back against tough opposition in Newcastle.

Taking to X, just after the first goal of the game from Udogie, Carragher wrote the following:

‘Spurs football is brilliant to watch! Left-back scoring from that position!!’

This was at a point where Spurs were simply flourishing, but it only got better for the boys in white. Three more goals followed, which promptly triggered Carragher to quote Tweet his first with the question:

‘How much is a Spurs season ticket?!!!’

One thing is for certain with Tottenham Hotspur this season – they sure are entertaining.

Spurs fans are very lucky in the sense they get to see ridiculously exciting football week in and week out, no matter the scoreline.

The Spurs vs Chelsea game epitomised this, with Spurs down to nine and Postecoglou still giving Mauricio Pochettino’s side all they’ve got.

With attacking football like this, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that Spurs could break their trophy duck this season. Time will tell, but for now – we’re enjoying watching some of the most exciting football played in the club’s history.
