Tottenham Hotspur go into the international break having suffered another disappointing defeat away at Newcastle United.
St James’ Park has become a miserable place for Spurs to play at in recent years, to put it mildly.
Tottenham’s last three visits to Newcastle’s stadium have resulted in three defeats, 12 goals conceded, and just two scored.
Sunday’s trip on Tyneside saw the Magpies run out 2-1 winners over Spurs, with Harvey Barnes and Alexander Isak cancelling out Dan Burn’s own goal.
But despite another poor result for Spurs, there were some positives, with a few players capable of holding their heads high after the game.
Radu Dragusin was one such player. The 22-year-old delivered a solid enough display that saw fans and journalists praise him.

What Tottenham fans said about Radu Dragusin display at Newcastle
What Alasdair Gold and other journalists said about Dragusin’s display
Gold gave Dragusin a 7 out of 10 rating for his efforts on Tyneside.
He wrote on football.london: “Battled away and made a brilliant tackle on Isak in the second half after the Newcastle striker looked like he’d got away.
“Hasn’t got Van de Ven’s pace but he brings his own abilities to the table.”
Meanwhile, the Evening Standard gave Dragusin a 6 out of 10.
Dan Kilpatrick wrote: “Made a brilliant covering challenge to dispossess Isak at the start of the second half in an assured performance, but Spurs missed the searing pace of Micky van de Ven.”
Finally, 90Min went with 7 out of 10, and they wrote: “Fantastic tackle from Dragusin to deny a second Newcastle goal. The centre-back looked lively and strong throughout.”

What next for Tottenham?
With the international break now set to get under way, Tottenham aren’t in action until Sunday 15 September.
Spurs will play host to Arsenal, so it’s more important than ever for Ange Postecoglou, the coaches and the players not on international duty to get things right over the next two weeks.
