Dejan Kulusevski says he loves playing alongside 26-year-old Tottenham player

Dejan Kulusevski singled out Richarlison for praise after Tottenham Hotspur beat Sheffield United yesterday.

Kulusevski spoke to Spurs Play and admitted he loves playing alongside the Brazilian striker. 

Richarlison grabbed the headlines as Spurs picked up a 2-1 win over the Blades on Saturday afternoon.

The 26-year-old came off the bench in the 80th minute when Tottenham trailed 1-0 after a Gustavo Hamer goal. 

He netted in the sixth minute of stoppage time with a well-taken header before setting up Kulusevski for the match-winner. 

It’s no secret that Richarlison has endured a difficult start to the campaign but Kulusevski has moved to back his teammate after a match-winning cameo display.

Speaking to Spurs Play, Kulusevski labelled Richarlison an ‘unbelievable’ player and feels he will start scoring more regularly for Tottenham.

“Richy’s a top player, I’ve always said it. I always love playing with him,” Kulusevski said.

“He’s an unbelievable player, we’ve just got to feed him the balls because with his head he’s always going to score like that.

“We’ve got to help him a lot off the pitch and on the pitch but he’s a great guy, he’s so funny and he helps our team so much.”

Richarlison hasn’t exactly enjoyed an ideal first year in North London after he also struggled under Antonio Conte last time out.

But after the forward opened up on his struggles off the pitch last week, it’s brilliant to see him back amongst the goals.

Ange Postecoglou and Spurs will only benefit from having another forward player who’s capable of impacting games.

Richarlison has already proved he can be an effective player in the Premier League and let’s hope that after yesterday’s game he can really kick on in a Tottenham shirt.
