Andy Townsend claims that Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou was ‘furious’ with Dejan Kulusevski after he failed to convert a chance against Fulham last night.
Townsend was on commentary for the game on Premier League Productions and spotted a moment where the Aussie boss looked far from impressed on the touchline.
Spurs cruised to a 2-0 win over Fulham last night thanks to goals from Son Heung-Min and James Maddison.
Son opened the scoring 10 minutes before half-time last night as the South Korean star produced an exceptional finish to beat Bernd Leno.
It looked as if Tottenham would double their lead before the break as they continued to create chances.
One of them fell to Dejan Kulusevski after some brilliant work from Cristian Romero. The Argentine found Kulusevski with a pinpoint through ball to put him in on goal.

But the Swedish winger couldn’t quite make up his mind as to whether to shoot or pass and eventually wasted the opportunity.
And according to Andy Townsend, Ange Postecoglou wasn’t impressed.
Postecoglou furious with Kulusevski
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Townsend claimed that Postecoglou was ‘furious’ after the wasted opportunity.
“He’s got to shoot there. Kulusevski there, Martin (Tyler), has to apply the finishing touch there.
“It’s a brilliant ball from Romero again. That’s an important moment in the game because that should end up in the back of the net.
“I just saw Ange Postecoglou’s face there, and he was furious that they didn’t make more of that.”

Kulusevski put in another promising display last night so he may be forgiven for wasting such a brilliant chance.
Maddison also doubled Tottenham’s advantage in the second half and Postecoglou’s men picked up another three points.
While Kulusevski has played a key role in Tottenham’s early-season success, he will be expected to contribute with more goal involvements at some stage.
The 23-year-old has already shown he can provide in the final third for Spurs but he needs to rediscover his scoring touch.
