Ange Postecgolou was spotted clashing with a Tottenham Hotspur supporter after his team lost 2-1 to Ipswich Town.

Spurs suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Kieran McKenna’s side as the visitors secured their first win of the season and their first in the Premier League since 2002. First-half goals from Sammie Szmodics and Liam Delap proved decisive as the away team held on for a 2-1 win in North London.

After the game, there were loud boos from the home supporters and when walking down the tunnel a fan appeared to shout abuse at Postecoglou, something the boss did not take kindly to.

Ange Postecoglou clashes with Tottenham fan

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was a rather toxic place to be after Spurs were beaten 2-1 by Ipswich as fans booed the team off the pitch.

The worst of the scenes came when Postecoglou had abuse shouted at him when walking down the tunnel and he did not take it lightly. Something was clearly said by a supporter which upset the Australian manager who stopped in his tracks before staring down the fan.

Postecoglou will now be starting to feel the pressure after his team suffered a fifth league defeat in just 11 matches and his team sat in tenth.

Is Ange Postecoglou in danger of Tottenham sacking?

As Tottenham head into the international break, there will now be question marks hanging over Postecoglou’s future at the club.

Supporters on social media have already started discussing who could be the next man to take to the Spurs dugout. But these discussions feel futile, given they happen almost every 18 months at Tottenham.

After Jose Mourinho, these questions were asked, after Antonio Conte, these questions were asked and now under Postecoglou, the same questions are being asked. At the end of the day, the questions need to be directed at the boardroom with yet another manager failing under their tenure.
