The Senegalese midfielder covered every bit of ground against the Champions League side as he came up against strong midfielders like Youri Tielemans and Amadou Onana.

Tottenham fans were so impressed by the 22-year-old’s performance and believe he played a pivotal role in securing the three points. They have since taken to social media to express their delight.

An Arsenal fan even admitted: “I love Pape Sarr….never thought I’d say that about a Spurs player. The interceptions, duels and forward play. Game changer for Spurs in midfield.”
